Veterinary Practice
I set up The Portman Veterinary Clinic in 1973 and continue to work there, sharing clinical primary care with my colleague Dr. Veronica Aksmanovic, a fellow Canadian and a University of Pennsylvania graduate. We are assisted by Mr. Grant Petrie who sees second opinion complex internal medicine conditions and Miss Philippa Hanslip who, in addition to sharing primary care also provides acupuncture, especially for chronic pain management . We have a superb staff of veterinary nurses and excellent facilities. The clinic is part of a unique partnership with three other clinics. Jointly we provide a dedicated emergency and critical care clinic and the back-up of specialists in all fields of pet care and welfare.
