There’s no doubt that writing takes up most of my spare time. The advantage to me in my writing about dog and cat care and training is that my research keeps me abreast with changes in veterinary medicine. I’m usually at the veterinary clinic Monday through Thursday and write over the resulting long weekends. My publishers tell me I’m the UK’s, USA’s and world’s best selling practicing vet.
